Last Saturday with Szilvi and Liam was SO much fun!

They had their intimate ceremony earlier in the day at the wicked @steelcitychapel, a vegas style elopement chapel over in Sheffield ⚡️ Before heading over to The Loft above @wentwortharms in Barnsley where I greeted their guests with tunes from Sleep Token, MCR and Creed.

The newlyweds arrived in STYLE and we enjoyed a fab spread of pizzas during more tunes from Fall Out Boy, The Used and Korn before playing a very funny game of Musical Bingo.

The prizes were some of the funniest I’ve ever seen. One line bingo won you a patch that said ‘be gay do crime’ and 2 lines got you a worm necklace 😂🪱

I had so much fun with Szilvi and Liam + their gorgeous guests and family ♥️ thank you so much for having me guys! That Black Forest cupcake was to die for!

Also a huge shoutout to @kylegloverphotography so lovely to meet you and thanks for saving me when my back was causing me problems! Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos, the ones I’ve seen so far are incredible. Hope to work with you again soon 🫵🏼📸

If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting my parents you’ll know they are the cutest patooties around. Today marks their 36th wedding anniversary so I asked them what advice they could give to my to-be-weds and newly weds for a long-lasting marriage.

In their many years of marriage they have never gone to sleep on an argument and swear by it. Sure, they may still chat in the morning but all is forgiven before bed. They don’t let things fester, communication is so important and for trust to be strong you need to feel confident to speak your mind and be listened to. They are kind to each other and understand they aren’t perfect and neither is the other, those little flaws are what makes them human. Sure they have plenty of things in common that they enjoy to do together but it’s their separate interests that spark the most interesting conversations.

I think I’d like to add to this, from an outsiders perspective, they are so visibly in love. They are still very affectionate with each other, they still go for dates and are ultimately best friends and each other’s cheerleader. ♥️

I know I am very lucky to have parents who are still together and this isn’t the case for so many. I’m so grateful for them every day.

If you’d have told me in 2020 I’d be where I am today I’d have just laughed at you. I was so so unhappy in my job but I didn’t see any other option, I felt totally stuck.

If I’m honest, covid lockdown was a welcome break for me, an allowance to take my foot off the gas. I think if I hadn’t have had that time to reset, as challenging as it was teaching music from home, I’d have burnt out much sooner.

It still took until Sept 2021, being signed off work, hair loss, high blood pressure, stress induced psoriasis and low mood for me to quit that job and I did so with no real plan. I knew I loved singing but I really didn’t think there would be a viable career in it where I could pay my mortgage and live a comfortable life. I just knew I couldn’t stay in teaching.

But… here I am. 5 years later, the most financially secure I’ve ever been. A full time musician…extremely satisfied with my job, no stress. I’ve worked my bum off to be where I am because I just couldn’t go back and I’m so proud of everything I’ve achieved. Sadly some symptoms that were triggered by the stress I experience when teaching still affect me to this day but they are manageable and a reminder that life is better because I took a risk and it paid off.

The one where I started as the wedding singer and ended dancing for hours with auntie Lorna 💃🏻

What an absolutely incredible day this was from start to finish @thetithebarn . I got to know Lauren and George through some good friends of mine who recommended me for their wedding. Once booked, we then hung out a few times on the lead up and I was so honoured to be invited as a guest after I’d finished my sets.

Their guest arrival set was full of absolute bangers from Electric Call Boy, Alexisonfire and Bilmuri! Then Lauren walked down the aisle to the beautiful ‘The Only Exception’ by Paramore

Their drinks set was super eclectic, we went from McFly to Breaking Benjamin to Earth Wind and Fire to Linkin Park!

For dinner they walked into All Star from Smash Mouth and then my sets were full of nostalgic pop punk and emo tunes from All Time Low, Blink 182 and Papa Roach. We even had a whole room singalong to Teenage Dirtbag towards the end.

Such a fantastic day to have been a part of, thank you both so much for asking me to be involved!

My first wedding of 2025 and what a lovely day to start of the season! ♥️ Lauren and George booked me to play as guests arrived to the manor and then entertain as they exited the ceremony and after the meal. It was so lovely to meet and get to know their family and friends throughout the day!

Thank you so much for having me guys, I had such a lovely day with you all and was so well looked after. The food at this venue is out of this world.

I only have capacity for 2 more weddings in 2026 as I’m limiting my bookings to 80 a year.

I want to be able to give the best service possible to the couples I work with and also allow time for more creative projects like touring and expanding @altweddingfair and that means taking on slightly less weddings (I have 90 booked this year 🤯)

Final tour diary from the Stealth Rock Tour!

After London it was time to travel to Brighton for our gig at @thefolklorerooms what a beautiful intimate venue this is! I was obsessed with the decor and it was lovely to see friends and family at this gig that I don’t often get to see! ♥️

Next was Hereford for @shackrevolution - fabulous night with help from Mum and Dad on logistics which meant Sam and I could focus on our performances! It was great to be able to stream this gig, check back on my reels if you missed it! 🖤

Finally we were back in Leeds @theatticleeds where it all began and it was wicked to go back feeling better and more confident now we’d done the show 6 times already! The outpouring of love from people was overwhelming and I can admit I did get home that night and have a big fat cry 😭

Thank you SO much for anyone who came along. It means the world. What a crazy experience.

It’s been a hot minute but I’ve been learning lots of new tunes in the background! Here are some that have been recently added to my setlist and you can choose these for your wedding day choices!

Well! We are 4 dates down and the tour has been absolutely wicked so far!

After our lovely Edinburgh show we head on to Newcastle for an incredible gig at @theclunynewcastle honestly can’t fault this venue, we were looked after so well and the sound was incredible. Thank you to everyone who came out that night in favour of the match and Craig David 😂

After Newcastle we took the longggggg drive to London (which didn’t feel that long due to a juicy true crime podcast we were invested in!) and met up with @samjaynesings lovely husband Andy at our Airbnb. I had to go pick up MORE MERCH because you amazing lot sold out my first 50 T-shirts.

It was then time to sing on a boat… that right, our London venue was @batterseabarge which is stationary… kind of. That boat was ROCKING 🤘🏼 but we absolutely smashed it and it was so lovely to see so many future couples whose weddings I’m singing at and also a few familiar faces from weddings gone by and mates! ♥️

Next stop, Brighton! See you there 🫵🏼

The last 6 months or so have been insanely wild to me and I’m beyond grateful to anyone who engaged with my videos, listened to me on streaming sites or booked me for their wedding!

Not your typical wedding singer 🤘🏼

Having begun performing live since 2013, and with 10+ years of professional experience on my side, I have played every type of wedding imaginable, from stunning clifftop ceremonies in Portugal, to intimate DIY woodland gatherings. I am available for a wide variety of events and milestone celebrations, from birthdays to anniversaries, hen parties to baby showers, corporate events to, of course, weddings.

My particular specialism as a musician is my love of Rock & Alternative music, played in my signature soft acoustic style. I regularly cover bands such as Slipknot, System of a Down, Bring Me The Horizon. My vast repertoire of rock songs serves as the perfect soundtrack to an alternative wedding, and provides a touch of nostalgia for any couple who are still 00’s emo kids at heart!
